Presidents Message
Our organization has a mission to support our artists through exhibits, educational opportunities, to promote arts and culture in our community and to enable exchange of creative ideas. We are starting to think through ideas for a greater variety of activities and opportunities in addition to meetings, workshops and shows.
We're looking at modifying the framework for meetings and programs, changing the schedules for workshops, incorporating different kinds of fun activities into our meeting schedule, and doing more social activities and fun trips throughout the year.
A loosely assembled bunch of creative thinkers met at my house on December 31 for an initial brainstorm: Jordan Ross, Janise Witt, Kathi Feher, Nadine Cummins, Christine Reifer, Marie Hughey, Margaret Matter. We had a fun time looking at what we have always done and free-thinking about how we could do different things or do things differently.
We will meet again in the next few weeks, and we would be delighted if you would like to get involved. Ask any of the individuals named above or get in touch with Kathi. We would love to welcome you aboard.
