Meet New and Interesting People!

From our President!

1.   Your new membership form filled out, a check for $30 and perhaps a little something added in the donation space???? PLEASE FILL IN WHERE YOU CAN VOLUNTEER!!

2.    A food item to donate to the church

3.       Your “Artist of the Month” art ready to hang and have your bio ready!

4.       Any items for the donation –and/sales table

5.       Please bring in your creations from the sculpture workshop.

We have quite a few new members in our group. Please make them feel welcome and “adopt” a new member, take them under your “wings” and show them the ropes. The beginning of the season can be quite overwhelming when not being sure of what is happening. Several members took me under their wings when I joined 6 years ago, and I still really appreciate it.

For the artists who participated in “From One, Many”, please bring your painting to the meeting for the “Artist of The Month”. In addition, Elaine also needs more art for the 1-month wall, so please sign up for the November and December hanging in the lobby.

Here are more of the future events

1.       Monthly and quarterly art show at the Cottonwood Library – Elaine Bomkamp & team

2.       Monthly 3-D art in the glass case at the Cottonwood Library – Ginny Storey & team.

3.       2-Month art show of the “Artist of The Month” at the Cottonwood library – Anna Blanchard, AJ Pearl & library team.

4.       Monthly individual show at N. Az Rehab Center – Robin Hardy

5.       Verde Valley Fair in the end of April early May.

Workshop preview: Nita Marlette “Adventure in Sketchbook Journalling”

Program: Sandra Beck – Foreign Travel & Art Workshops

Remember that EVAA is run by volunteers. Please step up and help us out in order to continue providing these great opportunities for fellow artists in our community.                                   Sincerely, Jette Monahan EVAA President
