This Holiday Season our El Valle Artists have much to be thankful for…..besides, our obvious good fortune to be in the VERDE VALLEY, doing our artwork. We had a very successful “Walkin’on Main Street”; great paintings are up at Cottonwood Library, the Cottonwood Bank, No. AZ and the Rec .Bldg. Everyone participating can be pleased with our nice showings. Now it is time for us to give to our much beloved Cottonwood Boys and Girls Club. Be sure to check your closets or buy some art supplies for the young people. Janet Baser and Tommy Bain will deliver their presents from us right after our Thurs. Dec. EVAA Meeting. Remember, you can just write a check to “Cottonwood Boys and Girls Club” and bring it to the meeting. They are always so appreciative, and will send you a receipt for taxes… Since some of you are new to the Valley this year, you may not know about the usual up to $420.for a couple..or $$$ as a single that can be given to our local schools, and is tax deductible at the end of each year. I will mention it again at the Dec. meeting. Jan 17th we will be showing more of our efforts at Jerona, for our Annual EVAA Jerona Show. Always check with our VPs for Events/Shows/Classes, as they have the latest info. ?Be sure and bring a special goodie for our December POT LUCK…? We will have a ham?for the main course, so any thing you can add to it will make it that much more yummy!!!!!!
