We have a new room to meet in at the Yavapai College. We are now going to meet in Bldg I, Room 121. Drive up to the college on Black Hills Dr and take the second entrance to the school. Immediately on your left will be Bldg I. Park and walk into the side entrance that you saw as you pulled in and there will be Room 121 on your left! If you get lost please call me (Wayne) at 300-7784 and I’ll guide you in.
I look forward to seeing you all there. Should be a great workshop. Oh, and don’t forget your portraits ready to be painted as Debbie has asked for. See you there… Wayne
Learn MorePresented by Rose Moon. It is a class open to beginner artists, beginner colored pencil users, accomplished artists and experienced colored pencil artists who want to learn this new technique.
We will use waxed based Prismacolor pencils and a framing board called Museum Board. The board will be supplied and students will bring their own pencils. Rose will have a few pencils to loan as well.
Hopefully some students will become interested in using pencils as they are a non toxic and very forgiving media. They are great for slowing people down and for learning to see contrast and color that often gets missed when moving too fast.
Learn Morewith Debbie Gallagher. This class will meet at Yavapai College Verde Campus (Rm TBD) from 10 AM to 4 PM. Emphasis will be on using watercolor glazing and multiple layers of color to bring “pizzazz” to your portraits. Cost $50.
